our story

our first picture together at Kolob Canyon- April 2013

Kaden and I met at SUU, and are both from pleasant grove, utah. I had never heard of, or seen him, before meeting him at my apartment one night when he came to hangout with my roommate, molly. we are three school years apart, and I was a freshman when he was a senior, so we were never in school together-even though we went to the same one. Then of course he went on his mission to mexico while I finished high school. we are both oldest children as well so there were no siblings to be known or anything.

It really is a miracle that I even met him because I was exhausted, after dance rehearsals, and it was pretty late when molly told me they were coming over. I wanted to go to bed so badly, but molly would not take that answer (thank goodness). So, when they came over I stayed up for about an hour just chatting with everyone and then decided to go to bed. (I also had a boyfriend at the time so I wasn't interested in anyone new).

Well, about a week later, Kaden found me on twitter-yes twitter-and decided to give me his number. This frustrated me, but also drove me insane at the same time. aren't boys supposed to ask for girls numbers and text them first? yes, yes they are. well after going insane for a couple days I finally text him. (I was out of my relationship by now, again thank goodness). We went on a couple dates, and then no one heard from me afterwards because we were literally inseparable.

I am so glad that molly made me stay up that night because I really don't think we would have met any other way. heavenly father definitely knew what he was doing by sending me this one. he is perfect for me in every way and I love him with all of my heart.
