39 weeks

~ this week has been a real struggle for me. with school, my last week of work at chili's, and no sleep = grumpy jade & kaden haha!
~ still not dilated, and my doctor scheduled me for a 40 week appointment (wahhh). it is scheduled for Feb. 2nd (one day after my due date). lets hope i don't go over!
~ kaden has been sleeping on the couch due to me waking up every hour with achy hips, legs, back.. every reason possible.. my doctor told me to get some unisom (a sleeping aid) and it worked wonders last night! kaden & i both took it last night and had the best nights sleep! and in the same bed even :)
~ i have gotten super impatient for this baby to come. for some reason i thought he would make his entry early, but that has not been the case. one more week (hopefully).
~ my last day of work is this tuesday at chili's and i'm super excited about that! it has gotten really tiring working in a high stress environment and being this huge. it will be a good break when my sweet baby gets here.

cove's nursery

decorating this nursery was a lot harder than i anticipated. at first i wanted to do bohemian/indian, but it turned into more of a woodland/furs room. i am so happy with how it turned out! i just stuck with neutrals, gold accents, and the light sea foam walls. i feel like it is perfect for a little boy and cozy for winter, and he will also be able to grow into it! the curtains are my favorite part since they are the center piece of the room, enjoy!

37 (and a half) weeks

~ first off, this bump is getting hugely uncomfortable.. come out cove!
~ no additional weight gain & no new stretch marks: HOORAY!
~ my doctor told me i have a pretty belly and i almost cried.. yep i'm at the emotional stage, and cry or tear at least once a day over nothing haha so pathetic.
~ i am just barely dilated.. only one finger (i don't even know if that's worth stating haha) which means he'll probably stick around inside me for a while longer. let's hope he doesn't go past the due date!
~ i have officially finished my to-do list and am just playing the waiting game.. everything is done and ready for our little boy. (nursery post coming soon)
~ this week i discovered what heart burn is. why do they call it heartburn? it makes no sense and is completely awful! (maybe cove WILL have hair?!)
~ props to me, i FINALLY renewed my license after getting married and having a new last name! i am officially a walker since i am now 21 and legal woooo!!
~ my birthday was amazing and my cute husband even got a pedicure with me :) happy girl right here!
being 8 months pregnant, that is all i really wanted to do- oh and watching movies which happens daily in our home now.
~ overall, i am ready to meet this little boy, see his cute face and what he looks like, and to be done sharing my body.
